| HELP NEW ORLEANS ROTARY - HELP REBUILD NEW ORLEANS – A Call to Action
Hurricane Katrina was the worst natural disaster in U.S. history causing billions of dollars worth of damage across the Gulf coast. More that 80% of the New Orleans area was flooded due to the massive storm surge produced by Katrina. As a result and more than a year later, many homes, businesses and services struggle to recover. While much work has been done, the recovery is not complete. The New Orleans Rotary, District 6840, needs your assistance as part of the largest rebuilding effort in this country’s history. Help the New Orleans Rotary help rebuild New Orleans and assist in their local projects!
WE WILL RISE AGAIN
With the assistance of Rotary Governor Jerry Fortino, District 6840 has commissioned Louisiana artist George Rodrigue, internationally famous for his Blue Dog series, to create We Will Rise Again silkscreen print. We Will Rise Again shows the American flag covered with water. The blue dog is partly submerged, and its eyes, normally yellow, are red with a broken heart with the Rotary emblem painted on the chest of the dog.

By making a $500.00* donation, you will receive We Will Rise Again by George Rodrigue. You can use this print for auction at your local chapter’s auction and/or buy as many as you like for your family and friends. In doing so, your contribution will greatly benefit the people who struggle to recover from this unprecedented disaster. Help New Orleans and help your local chapter too! And, receive a valuable commemorative print by a world famous artist!
Funds received from the sales of We Will Rise Again will directly benefit the projects of Rotary District 6840.
